Covid-19 Chest X-ray Detection

Project information

Summary: With increased demand in technology this project aimed to utilize different Deep Learning techniques to detect Covid-19 disease using chest x-rays.

Tools: Python, Tensorflow, Keras, NumPy, SciPy, OpenCV, Matplotlib, Jupyter Notebook, GitHub.

Duties: It was a team project. I worked extensively on Data merging and augmentation and performed detailed evaluation and analysis of the VGG-16 deep learning model.

Outcome: We were successful in achieving 85% accuracy of the VGG-16 model and 90% accuracy of the ResNet50 model in detecting Covid-19 disease from the chest x-rays.

Result: Obtained Credit score for this project.
